Spring time is a beautiful time of year in Atlanta, Georgia USA. Fresh fruits and vegetables are locally available year round.

Regular Consumption of Organic whole foods facilitate healthy living and health lives for you and those you love. Organic foods are foods that are either non chemically treated foods or are minimally processed foods.

In the world today, parents are busy. Prepared foods are in abundance and are readily available. The truth is, prepared foods are generally unhealthy foods. They are mass produced, contain large amounts of what I view are harmful preservatives, and high levels of salt, sugar and unhealthy oils and other ingredients. Fast food restaurants are everywhere and are very dangerous to maintaining good health. I believe whole, organic foods are a much better choice for healthy lives and healthy families.

To quote Hippocrates, the Father of Western Medicine, he said, : “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” Locating and purchasing organics fruits and vegetables is both easy and affordable in Atlanta Georgia, USA, thanks to my favorite local farmers market. The Dekalb Farmers Market is located in Decatur, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta, Georgia. They have a large selection of organic products. The market has regular and exotic fruits, vegetables, cheeses from around the world, organic grains, and coffees. You can purchase freshly ground peanut and almond butters. This market is a world market and lives up to the name. In addition to the great selection of produce, the market also has fresh, healthy poultry, beef, fish, and seafood, and freshly ground spices.

I feel fortunate to have a food market near by with high quality foods, a great selection, and excellent prices.
